Today, Alba Manufacturing has the great pleasure of honoring Jeff House, who oversees our Quality Control Department.
Jeff has been with Alba for 40 years! He’s a talented person with an incredibly cheerful outlook and work ethic. He takes pride in what he does, being on time and doing his best every day! Think about it. If you calculate 40 years times 365 days, that equals 14,600 days – the total time Jeff has been with the Alba family.
Astonishingly, Jeff has missed not more than twenty of those days! We appreciate his hard work, dedication, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, mentorship, and guidance to the rest of our team. Jeff has been an integral part of Alba’s success.
Jeff started working with Alba in 1982, just a mere nine years after our inception. He’s seen many changes. While Jeff has experience in every aspect of our facility, he is currently in charge of Quality Control. He makes sure orders are fulfilled correctly and meet our stringent safety and operational standards. He enjoys the fact that no two days are the same. He looks forward to coming to work and seeing the finished products.
Jeff a native to the area has one brother, one sister, two daughters, five grandchildren (ages 14, 13, 6, 3, 1) and his lovely wife, Marty. Marty is one of nine children and she’s worked at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati for 45 years.
Besides loving on their grandchildren, the family enjoys boating – boating time is always family time. When not boating, Jeff loves attending his grandkids’ sporting events. His oldest plays Lacrosse and last summer he took them to the quarter-final championships at Ohio State. Ultimately, Jeff enjoys anything family related. He and Marty have been on a couple of cruises. His favorite beverage – iced tea. His favorite meal, in his words “You can’t turn down a good steak.”
