Meet Kevin Kirby – a Sales Support and Estimating Engineer here at Alba. A native of the Fairfield, Ohio area, Kevin has been with Alba just under a year. He has quickly become an important part of our team by supporting the sales department and providing estimates on customer inquiries. Kevin shares, “I enjoy working with a dedicated team and providing our customers with the most cost-effective equipment package for their projects.”
With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Miami University, Kevin’s past experience includes serving as a Manufacturing Engineer (to improve material flow through fabrication, eliminate waste, designed jigs and fixtures); a Design Engineer (for animal by-product recovery equipment, research and development); a Project Engineer (involving pressure vessels, reactors, columns, brewery tanks); and an Estimator (for pressure vessel and storage tanks).
When not at the office, Kevin loves spending time with his wife, kids, two dogs, and cat. Word has it, Kevin is a grill master and enjoys cooking and smoking meat. While he savors his favorite food, ribeye steak, you can be sure to find Kevin working on a new flavor combo for home brewing. Two things he finds relaxing. Gardening and long walks.
